And we’re back!

Chuck Okay, we’re back from our 6 day road trip and tired as hell. But we know you all have been without a podcast for 2 weeks, so here’s what we’ll do: we’re going to do another Jack Chick episode and we already have one slot filled with a tract called “Oops.” We’d like to discuss 2 more, so we’ll open the floor to our audience.

Leave suggestions for your favorite Chick tracts in the comments, and we’ll choose two from that pool and record the podcast tonight. I’ll try to get it edited and out some time late tonight, and then I’ll crash and sleep the sleep of the damned, hopefully until I actually am damned.

Apologies

Chuck We tried to get a podcast out today, but between working 10 out of the last 10 days, Leighton’s school work, and gearing up for the Haunt Convention in St. Louis, we failed. We will try to get one out by the end of the week, pending internet access at the hotel (we’ll be driving pretty much the next 2 days straight).

If you’re looking around for someone to blame, blame Pakhdi. He’s so damn hungry he can’t even write.

54 & 55: Respecting Other People’s Beliefs

Irreligiosophy And here we go … the talk with Leighton’s brother Sean ran a marathon 3+ hours, from which we have distilled the resulting two episodes. A quick summary: Sean repeatedly castigates us for not showing proper respect to ludicrous and patently untrue beliefs while simultaneously approving of his Church’s attempt to deprive homosexuals of basic human rights. He refuses to answer important, pertinent questions regarding his faith, blithely ignores reality, and even Godwins us at the end of the first episode. What I found most impressive is that he remained cheerfully impregnable to reason and logic all the way to the end.

Since we’ve missed a few weeks in the past, we figure it’s only fair to release both episodes at once. Have at them.
