[irrelig]In this episode we discuss the rest of the story: how when Christians gained power in the Roman Empire, they took Christ’s teachings about being meek and turning the other cheek to heart, and immediately put the sword and torch to pagan temples, books, priests, and people in a persecution so widespread and thorough it put the Diocletian “Great Persecution” to shame.

Plus, we read reviews, discover who this week’s Skunk Dick is, and play a commercial for our sponsor(s). You can listen to it all here.

JOKE SUCKED! DEATH TO THE JOKE WRITING CHILD LABORER.

(I figured there’s a Roman theme to this podcast, why not?)

Salvete! Another disturbing podcast to thrill my heart. And the next time some martyr wannabe Christian brings up prayer in school or the war on Christmas I’m going to poing out the persecution of Hypatia. Thanks for another great podcast!

Great show guys. Well worth the 14 day wait. Are you both planning on attending the 2010 Global Atheist Convention here in Australia? You could always pick up a few more Thai children on the way back…

Thanks for a great Podcast guys! I was about to be the 4th person clamoring for a new podcast!

  5. Just started listening to your podcast. Both of you sound knowledgeable about the Bible and religion and have a great, demented sense of humor. This is a great podcast!

  6. Taiki: Have no fear, there is no hope for that child.

Doc Acular: I’d love to make it down to that. Unfortunately going to it would probably interfere with our going to the haunted house convention in Missouri. There’s always next year and it may be better that way because our fan base might just get to six.

Queen of Hearts: We could never disappoint you. Your wish is our command. I will make sure Charley’s Thai children work harder on keeping us to a schedule.

  7. Nothing to do with this episode… you guys need to do an episode about the incest in the bible. Cause that shit’s hilarious.

  8. Guys great work as usual. I just bought you two a beer in hopes it would motivate you to get off your lazy asses and put another podcast up!

  9. Mike, your wish is our command. Thanks for the beer!

You should look up Tempest Smith and the story of her persecution by christians… they still do the same thing today.
