I gave bbpress a try because it integrated with WordPress so nicely, but it just didn’t have enough features to be a “real” forum. So I converted to phpbb, but of course there isn’t a conversion pathway from bbpress to phpbb, so I had to do it manually. You’ll probably have to reset your passwords in order to post.
Post in this thread if there are any issues, and I’ll try to resolve them. Or you can email me at irreligiosophy@gmail.com if you’re too lazy or shy to post here. Unlike Job, my patience isn’t infinite. If this doesn’t work, or if there are too many problems, I’ll dump the forum and start from scratch. That means that everyone would have to register again, which is what I was trying to avoid with bbpress in the first place.

Whew, I’m back. Though, there seem to be no forums now… and I can’t change my password to what I want. Fuck it, I’ll just wait until you’re done, no sense bitching while things are under construction
I had to re-register under a different name, which is actually the name I was using for comments before the forum, so i guess it all worked out ok.
Davros … I just (manually) added everyone to the “Registered Member” group. Is it functional for you now?

If it wasn’t the One True Forum I’d have a lot bad words for it about now. No wait, I still have bad words. That cum sucking gutter whore of a forum won’t let me reset my password, the fucker knows there is someone with the username Whelve but it is pretending my email doesn’t match up.
I was hoping that once in, everyone would be able to reset their passwords, but apparently the email addresses were mixed up. Sigh.
I’ll erase the board and restart from scratch.
New board is up. I’ll try to find a way to move the old topics over to the new board for archival purposes, but no promises. It’s not like I’m omnipotent here.
