  1. Great episode guys. It caused me to begin listening and now I have listened to several episodes. I love the laid back format and humor, interspersed with advanced historical biblical knowledge.

I’ve heard Bob a shitload of times on Point of Inquiry, but DJ always asks leading questions and then answers them himself. I love the way you let Bob talk. Thanks for a new favorite podcast.

  2. This was an awesome episode. It gives me a lot of grist for my pastor teacher in class tomorrow night.

Also, I guess I will have to listen to more Point of Inquiry episodes. I have never heard Bob Price on there.

    Thanks again.

  3. Evil Eye, great to have you with us. I actually stopped listening to Point of Inquiry a while back out of sheer boredom, although all the lip service Grothe was giving to that guy who wanted PZ Meyers to be quiet and let someone else be the spokesperson for atheism really got on my nerves.

James, keep us posted on the religion class. It sounds like a lot of fun.

  4. I actually just dropped it last night due to my personal life being a rolling crisis of sorts for the last couple months. I’m just gonna take a Dantes test and skip the class and tuition payments.

The reason it’s Intro to Bible and not comparative mythology (my favorite way of referring to Christianity) is because it’s a Jesuit school. I go for the good schedule for full time workers. I stay for the trolling of Christians who don’t even understand their own faith enough to defend it against some random asshole who listens to a podcast.

    It is pretty fun.

  5. I figure I’ll just drop this link here.

The guy is a mormon painter and the stuff he puts in this painting is absolutely amazing.

And then a nice little story about everyone’s favorite mormon.

  6. Bob is amazing, he must have some external hard drive full of information lojacked directly to cranium. I could listen to him for hours… and I think he could easily go that long!
    Great Show!
