[leighton]Once again we have found another to join us on a podcast discussion concerning their religious belief systems. We’re pleased to announce that on February 27, 2009 we will be airing a discussion we’ve had with Matt Wakefield. Tune in to discover for yourself his extravagantly named religious belief system.

Matt Wakefield grew up first catholic then christian in Southern Cal, moved to Utah in the early 80’s(Was given LDS preventative teachings before moving!), was born again in high school , finally found reason through the study of other cultures, especially mythologies, graduated with a degree in anthropology. That education combined with a lot of world travel led to his current state of freethinking. Currently he lives in Salt Lake City, married with a wonderful little girl, and is at this moment raking it in as a commercial airline pilot.

[leighton]Once again the time has come to proudly announce our next guests. We are privileged to welcome our next guests to the discussion table and look forward to these new perspectives. Our discussion with them is slated for Friday February 20, 2009. Peter Walker is an M.Div student at George Fox Seminary & a freelance writer (his day job is finance). Peter is a Charter Contributor at www.Wikiletics.com with Leonard Sweet, has partnered with Off The Map (www.OffTheMap.com) in Doable Evangelism efforts, & is a contributing writer in several books: Out of the OOZE through NavPress, & Church of the Perfect Storm through Abingdon Press.  He lives in the Portland area with his wife Jen, a theological studies student at GFS.

Adele Sakler currently resides in Richmond, Virginia with her wife, Katryna, and their two dogs, Mushu and Lady. She blogs as Existential Punk at www.ExistentialPunk.com and is the creator and site administrator of Queermergent at http://Queermergent.wordpress.com. She is currently going through long-term treatment for Chronic Lyme Disease, other tick-borne diseases, and heavy metal toxicity.
 
Adele has been a Christ-follower for 20 years and an “out” queer woman for two and-a-half years. Her involvement with the emerging church and Emergent Village (http://www.emergentvillage.com/) has filled the better part of 10 years.
