[chuck]In observance of Brunalia, the folks at Meat Mutant have released their latest episode. It’s all about taking down Evidence 4 Faith’s ridiculous “Amazing True Biblical Prophecies” podcast, guest starring me.

[chuck]I know a bunch of you have been waiting for this one. The folks from Cognitive Dissonance invited me on their show to talk about Bill O’Reilly and the crazy Mormon Temple rituals. You all remember ANN? Cognitive Dissonance is what ANN should have been.

[chuck]While you were waiting fruitlessly for another Irreligiosophy episode to come out, I guested on the NonTheology podcast. We did a little episode on the many anachronisms found within the Book of Mormon (SPOILER ALERT: there’s a lot of them).

I had a great time, so stop whatever you’re doing and listen to it right now.

[chuck]I guest once again on the Church of Awesome for a rousing discussion of Green Lantern stories, the deep meaning of the colors of the rainbow, and serious philosophy. It’s an hour or so of nerdy fun that would make the Comic Geek proud.

And notice that link: 666! That’s the same sector where the Black Lantern was discovered. Coincidence? No such thing. Must be a higher power at work.

[chuck]So I’m gathering my wits about me after being thoroughly pounded by the sheer magnitude of dumb contained in the book that shall no longer be named by the author who I will no longer link, and figure I’ll relaunch the site sometime in the near future. I have a few topics lined up (the empty tomb, CS Lewis, the art of argumentation, biblical prophecies, etc), but here’s a thread where you can drop some ideas for topics you’d like to see us address.

I’ll probably ignore it, but it might keep you busy while I rest my weary brain.

It all ends here, folks. I have given up the ghost after trudging my way through 12 chapters of the oddly-named “What Is Truth?” by Kirk Hastings. In this episode we cover the recent bannings of 99% of the members posting on Kirk’s “Question Irreligiosophy Project,” as well as my now-deleted review of his Superman fan fiction story. Matt and I make it all the way through Part XI, “The Case for Christ,” but only halfway through Part XII, “What About All These Other Here Religions?” before my brain finally overloaded from the sheer magnitude of dumb.

I must retreat now, and think no more on moronic Christian pseudo-arguments for their evidence-free religion, or quite possibly even dumber Christian arguments against other evidence-free religions.

The next chapter in our continuing series on “How Dumb Can Arguments for Christianity Get?” is live! The answer: pretty dumb indeed. We cover Kirk’s gaffes on the manuscript evidence for the Old and New Testament, discuss the Amazon reviews for “What Is Truth?”, dramatically re-enact some of Kirk’s Irreligiosophy comics, and engage in serious literary criticism of one of Kirk’s fan fiction stories.

All that packed into one hour of juicy podcasttainment. Don’t say I never gave you anything.

This purpose of this page is to call into question the extremely questionable tactics, arguments, actions, beliefs, and philosophies of atheist internet groups like Irreligiosophy, and Facebook pages like Question Creationism, Question The Question Evolution Project, etc. These pages were not created for the purpose of honest intellectual debate, or to advance a sincere search for reason, logic or truth — they are nothing less than hate groups, created to allow their bigoted atheist members the chance to express their irrational hatred for God, for Christians, for the Bible, and for religion in general. This page is a protest against such hate groups.

[chuck]Matt and I had some trouble lining up our schedules over the last week, so the next podcast will have to wait until next week. One alternative explanation, provided by Kirk “Grant Gardner” Hastings himself, is that we are afraid of his book, and don’t have the courage to expose ourselves to it:

The various nasty, negative posts in reply to this comment by me only serve to prove how incredibly childish and dishonest the atheist members of Irreligiosophy really are. Their reviews contain no intelligent content, only shallow put-downs, because they are not the least bit interested in reason, logic, or truth; they are only interested in insulting everyone who disagrees with them. This is clear evidence of very sick, dishonest, insecure minds. They are afraid of my book, because it reveals the easily verifiable truths about life and God that they simply don’t want to face. That’s why many of them haven’t even read it (even though they attempt to “review” it!) — they haven’t the courage to expose themselves to what it really says. Such people are little more than cowards and troublemakers, and they will get what they deserve out of life in the end.

Oh, I’ve exposed myself to it, Kirk. Repeatedly. See y’all next week.
